March 19 - Pymmes Pk Spring Clean on Saturday 29 March

This month, FoPP is joining Keep Britain Tidy as the Great British Spring Clean returns for the tenth time.
Since the initiative began in 2016, people have pledged to pick up more than four million bags of rubbish in their communities across the country.
FoPP believes that Pymmes Park belongs to all, and we are encouraging everyone to take part in our Spring Clean on 29 March.
Meeting at the amphitheatre there will be 3 x two-hour shifts between 10am and 2pm.
That is:
· 10am – 12noon
· 11am – 1pm
· 12noon – 2pm.
It’s important that volunteers use gloves and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
It’s recommended that you carry a hand sanitiser and wash your hands regularly.
Please ensure you have considered the weather and are wearing suitable clothing/ shoes and have enough to drink. If it is warm, consider sun cream/ hats.
Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult when taking part.
Remind children that if they are in any doubt they should ask a grown up before picking the litter up.
More advice will be shared closer to the day.
Last year, people up and down the country pledged to clean up more than 425,000 bags of litter, collecting and recycling harmful rubbish from our streets, parks, beaches, and other public spaces.
Let’s give Pymmes Park a Spring Clean!
