This is the original Pymmes Park Aylesbury Duck we named ‘Honkytonk’ who inspired the mascot you would have seen around this site and the animation below. Honkytonk spent much of her time hanging around with the swans and cygnets in 2019 and as she was the only one of her breed in Pymmes Lake seemed to be happy spending time with the swans.

 

Perhaps she thought she was a swan! In any case, she made quite an impression on us because she was an outsider who managed to survive and make the best of her circumstances.
